Job Description:
A London based direct lender (Real Estate Finance and Commercial Finance specialist ) is looking to hire an Operational Risk professional. This is a standalone role that will report directly into the CRO.
The role will involve:
*Acting as the sole 2LOD Operational Risk function
*Ownership and oversight of the RCSA framework
*KRI monitoring, risk appetite reporting and governance MI
*Oversight of operational risk events and incident management
*Independent challenge and support to 1st Line business units
*Engagement with senior stakeholders and Risk Committees
The ideal profile:
*2LOD Operational Risk experience within a corporate/commercial lending environment.
*Comfortable operating autonomously in a lean, growing business.
*Strong stakeholder engagement skills and pragmatic approach.
This role is offered initially as a 12-month fixed-term contract with a view to go permanent, subject to internal developments.
