Programme Manager – Custody Change (Global Custodian)
Permanent | London | 4 days per week onsite
We are partnering with a leading global custodian to appoint a senior Programme Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of custody change initiatives across the enterprise.
This is a high-profile, permanent role based in London (4 days per week onsite), offering the opportunity to shape and drive complex, multi-jurisdictional transformation across operations, technology, product, risk, and client services.
As Programme Manager, you will own the end-to-end delivery of all custody change projects – from regulatory and market infrastructure change to operating model transformation, platform enhancements, client migrations, and strategic growth initiatives. You will define programme structure, governance, financial oversight, and resource strategy while ensuring alignment to global business priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
*Leading a portfolio of concurrent custody change programmes across regions
*Establishing strong governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement frameworks
*Managing senior stakeholders including ExCo, Operations, Technology, Risk and Front Office
*Driving regulatory and market-driven change initiatives
*Ensuring robust risk, dependency, and financial management across the portfolio
*Building and leading high-performing, cross-functional delivery teams
The ideal candidate will bring:
*Proven experience delivering large-scale custody or securities services change programmes
*Deep understanding of global custody operations, asset servicing, and market infrastructure
*Strong regulatory change experience within financial services
*Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
*A track record of delivering complex transformation in a global, matrixed organisation
