Job Description:
Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Finance Manager who is available at short notice, to work for a lovely company based in the Haywards Heath West Sussex area. The Finance Manager role is to start ASAP and will be working on a hybrid basis will be responsible for all aspects of accounts - financial management from management accounting, payroll process, financial reporting, cash flow, invoicing and year end processes.
Location: Hybrid working - Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Salary: £50-55K
Finance Manager duties:
*Budget control - monitoring and reviewing budgets
*Balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
*Developing and updating accounting systems
*Monitoring and reviewing of suppliers - contract management
*Payroll - ensure the process of the monthly payroll is accurate
*Attend meetings and report any financial findings, commercial support etc
*Manage the month end / year end process and reporting
*Managing an Accounts Assistant
Skills and experience required: *Proven experience working in a similar Finance Manager / Head of Finance type role, ideally within the charity / healthcare / education sector
*Great communication and IT skills, use of Xero
*Able to review financial contracts and support with ever-changing requirements
