Job Description:
An exciting new opportunity has become available at a City based Financial Services organisation who are seeking an experienced Workplace and Facilities professional with 10+ years experience to drive strategic initiatives across space planning, occupier experience, and facilities operations.
You will oversee hard and soft services, lifecycle planning, and supplier governance while delivering cost optimization and energy performance. The role also covers contractor management, ESG alignment, and safety/compliance.
Key Focus Areas:
*Project and Change Management: deliver workplace projects from concept to delivery within governance standards; lead change across functions with clear stakeholder engagement.
*Workplace Experience: drive occupier experience, space planning, and hybrid-work change programs; coordinate move and space utilisation activities.
*Technology and Data: embed data-driven decision making; leverage space analytics, dashboards, and integrated systems (CAFM, BMS) to enhance performance and compliance.
*Supply Chain and Procurement: manage end-to-end contracts, KPI definition, supplier performance, and escalation mechanisms.
*Sustainability: develop and implement facility sustainability strategies, regulatory reporting, and cross-border alignment with BPCE sustainability teams.
*Facilities, H&S, and Physical Security: ensure statutory inspections, risk management, asset lifecycle, safety training, and secure access and surveillance governance.
*Reporting and Risk: lead operational risk, deliver monthly KPI and occupancy reports, maintain SOPs, and support audits.
Key Skills and Experience:
*10+ years in Workplace/Facilities functions within large, regulated organisations (financial services preferred); client-side experience.
*Proven record of major workplace transformations and occupier experience programs; strong vendor/contract management and cost control.
*Advanced project management across multiple priorities; cross-functional leadership.
*Solid knowledge of Statutory Inspections, PPMs, compliance, and H&S.
*Data-driven: analytics, dashboards, data integrity; proficient with CAFM and Power BI (or equivalents).
*Sustainability/ESG awareness; regulatory reporting experience.
*Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building; financially astute.
*Adaptable to new tech and trends; proficient with Excel; basic process automation (e.g., Power Automate).
*IWFM member; PRINCE2 Foundation; DSE Assessor; IOSH Working Safely; Evacuation Marshal
