Your role
As part of the Global Client Documentation team, we negotiate derivatives master agreements and related collateral agreements. We liaise with business, credit officers, the legal department and on occasion external counsel on negotiations.
We are looking for a Documentation Negotiator to:
*Negotiate master agreements (ISDA and ISDA CSA, Equity Prime Brokerage, FX Prime Brokerage, Repo, Stock Loan or Securities Lending Agreements, OTC Clearing).
*Support a wide range of counterparties including banks, mutual, pension and hedge funds, corporates and insurance companies.
*Ensure the optimum reduction of risk in line with the credit and legal policies/standards of the bank.
*Extensive contact with clients and their lawyers (including occasional conference calls and meetings).
Our team
You’ll be working in the Documentation Unit which is part of Integrated Client Life Cycle Services team. We are responsible for the negotiation and completion of Master Agreements and related collateral agreements (Exchange Traded Derivatives, ISDA and ISDA CSA, FX Prime Brokerage, OTC Clearing) with a wide range of counterparties including banks, mutual, pension and hedge funds, corporates and insurance companies.
Your experience and skills
*Ideally you have 2+ years of experience negotiating traded product matter agreements in an investment bank or in-house in a buy-side firm.
*A strong team player who is flexible and adaptable and committed to providing the businesses with the highest levels of support and service as well as achieving results.
*Able to prioritise and respond to deadlines.
*Able to liaise, communicate and foster good co-operative working relationships both internally and externally.
*Ideally you have a degree in law or equivalent.
