Your new role
As the Year 1 Teacher, you will:
*Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
*Support pupils as they transition from EYFS into more formal learning
*Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform next steps.
*Work closely with the KS1 team, teaching assistants, and senior leaders
*Create a nurturing, stimulating classroom environment where children can flourish
This role is open to both experienced teachers and confident ECTs seeking a supportive start to their career.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching in KS1 (placement experience considered)
*Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development
*A positive, child-centred approach to teaching
*The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.
