PMO Support Office – RAID Specialist
Location: Basingstoke
Rate: £500 per day (Contract)
Clearance: DV – UK Sole Nationality Required
Duration: 6 months plus
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PMO RAID Specialist to support a major government programme undergoing significant change. You will play a vital role in ensuring strong governance, clear visibility of risks and issues, and high-quality reporting across a complex portfolio. This is a fast-paced, structured environment where accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement are essential.
Key Responsibilities
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date RAID logs and trackers across the programme.
*Lead RAID workshops to identify, assess and prioritise risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
*Ensure consistent RAID standards and governance controls across the portfolio.
*Improve PMO processes and tooling, including Excel, SharePoint, Jira and reporting systems.
*Prepare and present clear RAID dashboards and reports for project boards and governance forums.
*Provide RAID advisory support to programme teams.
*Support general PMO activities in line with the PMO Charter.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
*Strong RAID management capability with proven experience in complex programmes.
*Excellent analytical and communication skills.
*Strong stakeholder engagement and attention to detail.
*Proficiency with Excel and good working knowledge of SharePoint.
*Adaptability and resilience in a fast-moving environment.
