Description
*Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
*Post month-end journals, including prepayments and accruals.
*Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the fixed asset register.
*Produce month-end and ad hoc reports with variance analysis and clear commentary.
*Monitor performance against budget and forecast.
*Support preparation of the monthly board pack.
*Contribute to budgeting and forecasting, working closely with teams across the business.
*Build strong internal relationships by supporting departments with spend management.
*Liaise with external auditors and manage sample requests and National Statistics returns.
*Carry out other duties as required in line with company policies and procedures.
Profile
*Qualified accountant with experience in preparing management accounts
*Strong IT skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel
*Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
*Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to changing business needs
*Experience with Sage Intacct is desirable
