Job Description:
Maths Teacher – Secondary School (Rochester)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Until the end of the academic year
Requirement: Must hold QTS
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maths Teacher for a secondary school based in Rochester. This position is available for an immediate start and is expected to run through to the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3–KS4
*Plan, prepare, and mark all lesson materials in line with school policies
*Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback
*Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum where required
*Attend parents’ evening and relevant school meetings
*Maintain a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
*Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
*Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
*Ability to motivate and support students of varying abilities
*Availability to start immediately
