SIA-Licensed Security Officer – Doncaster Airport
Location: Doncaster Airport site
Contract: Initial 3-month contract (with strong potential to extend or go permanent)
Shift Pattern: 2 x 12-hour days 2 x 12-hour nights 4 days off
Pay: £13.47 + holiday and benefits
About the Role
We’re recruiting a number of SIA-Licensed Security Officers to support the Doncaster Airport site.. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile aviation environment where no two days are the same.
This role starts as a 3-month contract, with opportunities to extend or transition into a permanent position based on performance and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant airport environment, in line with DSA Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Your duties will include:
Operational Security
*Conduct all duties in accordance with DSA Policies and SOPs
*Carry out access control for pedestrians and vehicles
*Issue and manage security passes as required
*Perform escort duties for contractors, visitors, and authorised personnel
Monitoring & Response
*Monitor CCTV, fire alarms, and security systems
*Respond to security and fire incidents, escalating where necessary
*Maintain accurate security logs and incident reports to required standards
Patrolling
*Conduct regular airport patrols and surveillance (mobile and foot)
*Identify security risks and report or act accordingly
Requirements
*Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor)
*Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure
*Excellent communication and reporting skills
*Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift pattern
*Previous airport security experience is desirable but not essential
