Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and community-focused school? A well-established primary setting in South Birmingham is seeking a committed class teacher to join their team from Easter for a 12-month maternity contract.

Your new role
You will take full responsibility for a year 2 class within the primary phase, delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that support pupils’ academic and personal development. You will work collaboratively with a supportive staff team who share a commitment to raising standards and providing a rich, well-balanced curriculum.

You will:
*Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons in line with the school’s curriculum
*Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
*Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
*Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents
*Contribute to the wider life of the school

What you’ll need to succeed
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching within KS1, ideally in Year 2
*Strong classroom management and organisational skills
*A passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
*A proactive, reflective approach to teaching
