About the Role:
A new all-Wales materials framework has been established to support public-sector organisations with the supply of building materials. We’re looking for a Framework Regional Manager to drive performance, growth, and member engagement across the region. This is a remote role, but you must be based in Wales to be considered.
Reporting to the Head of Frameworks, you’ll act as an ambassador for the framework - strengthening relationships, optimising service delivery, and identifying opportunities to expand membership and value.
This is a key role for someone who enjoys building partnerships, improving processes, and driving commercial and social value outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management
*Serve as the primary contact for framework operations and performance within the region.
*Ensure service delivery is effective, compliant, and provides value for money.
*Complete annual health checks and propose efficiency improvements.
*Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement activity.
*Produce clear performance and progress reports for senior management.
*Promote excellence across health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
Partnership & Member Engagement
*Build strong relationships with framework members and suppliers.
*Deliver value-engineering workshops and identify efficiency gains.
*Support and negotiate commercial arrangements on behalf of members.
*Understand member and supplier operating models to ensure service is fit for purpose.
*Support delivery of social-value commitments in partnership with stakeholders.
Growth & Development
*Attract new members and support the framework’s growth ambitions.
*Promote the framework across Wales through events, engagement, and outreach.
*Identify additional spend and collaboration opportunities, including future material needs.
*Support development of new call-off contracts and category opportunities.
*Contribute to delivery of annual growth targets and long-term strategy.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is commercially sharp, relationship-focused, and confident working autonomously.
You will have:
*Experience in a similar framework, procurement, contracts manager / supplier relationship manager or public-sector environment.
*Able and confident to deliver presentations to large audiences on occasion.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities at senior and operational levels.
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*A consultative, solutions-focused approach and ability to deliver end-to-end projects.
*High levels of drive, motivation, and resilience.
