English Teacher

We are seeking a temporary English Teacher to join our team immediately until the Easter holidays This role involves full teaching responsibilities including planning, teaching, and marking. It’s a great opportunity for educators who are passionate about English literature and language and are ready to engage students with dynamic lessons.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
*Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
*Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
*Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and disciplinary systems.
*Set and mark work to be carried out by the student in school and at home.
*Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by law, district policies, and school regulations.
*Participate in department and school meetings, parent meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Proven experience as an English Teacher.
*Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures.
*Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills.
*Well-organized and committed.
*Creative and energetic.
