SEND EHCP Officer - Lancashire (Fully Remote)Location: Lancashire (Fully Remote)
Contract: Agency Interim
Rate: £275 per day (Umbrella)
Service: Education & Children’s Services - Inclusion
We are recruiting an experienced SEND EHCP Officer to join Lancashire’s SEND Team on a fully remote interim contract. This role focuses on managing the full Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process in line with SEND legislation and statutory timescales.
Key Responsibilities*Manage the end-to-end EHCP process - assessments, drafting, reviews, amendments and cessations
*Produce high-quality, legally compliant, person-centred EHCPs
*Analyse multi-agency advice from education, health and social care professionals
*Meet termly with SENCOs to monitor provision and outcomes
*Represent the Local Authority at mediation and dispute resolution (EHCNA decisions)
*Maintain accurate case records and meet statutory deadlines
Essential Requirements*Proven experience as a SEND Officer / EHCP Coordinator / EHCP Caseworker
*Strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and statutory guidance
*Experience working within a local authority SEND team
*Ability to manage a complex caseload remotely
*Excellent report writing and case management skills
*Experience working collaboratively across education, health and care
