Job Description:
Safeguarding Minute Taker
*Job Type: Full-time, Temp
*Location: Barnsley
*Hourly Rate: £13.69
We are seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Minute Taker who is resilient and capable of handling sensitive information related to child safeguarding. This role requires excellent minute-taking skills and the ability to manage detailed and sometimes challenging content with professionalism and discretion.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
*Support statutory meetings by recording decisions accurately and swiftly directly onto electronic forms and templates using mobile IT devices.
*Maintain electronic and paper-based systems, ensuring data accuracy and appropriate storage.
*Organise and coordinate meetings, ensuring logistics are appropriately managed for all attendees.
*Perform administrative duties, manage interruptions, and handle conflicting demands effectively.
*Respond to various correspondences and manage incoming and outgoing information efficiently.
*Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining effective communication and information links.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Level 2 qualification in a relevant field.
*Training in Microsoft Office.
*Experience in a business support environment, particularly with confidential and sensitive information.
*Proven skills in minute-taking directly onto mobile devices with speed and accuracy.
*Strong knowledge of computer-based systems, information governance, data protection, and risk management.
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to handle large volumes of information with high accuracy.
*Emotional resilience and composure when dealing with sensitive content.
