Job Title: Trainee CAD Technician / Draughtsperson
Location: Hereford
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Pertemps are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing engineering company based in Hereford to recruit a Trainee CAD Technician / Draughtsperson.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with AutoCAD experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive operations and design team. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on live contracts, liaising with customers, and supporting production with accurate technical drawings.

The Role
* Assist in producing CAD drawings for multiple live contracts
* Amend and update drawings in line with customer and production requirements
* Liaise with customers to agree general arrangement drawings and resolve queries
* Issue approved drawings to the production team for manufacture
* Work closely with the internal design team on drawing-related matters
* Maintain drawing records using Autodesk Vault
* Ensure all work meets company quality and Health & Safety standards

Essential:

* Experience using Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
