Trainee Health & Safety Advisor
West Essex

The Opportunity
An established contractor operating across the local area is looking to appoint a Health & Safety Trainee to support site operations and drive best practice standards across projects.
This role is ideally suited to someone with a solid background in groundworks or construction who is looking to step away from being on the tools, but still wants to remain heavily involved in site activity.
If you understand how sites operate, enjoy being part of the team environment, and want to develop a long-term career in Health & Safety, this could be the perfect next move.
Key Responsibilities
*Support the implementation of health & safety procedures across active sites
*Carry out site inspections and audits
*Assist with risk assessments and method statements
*Monitor compliance and ensure safe systems of work are followed
*Provide guidance and support to site teams
*Help investigate incidents and promote a strong safety culture
*Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
About You
*Previous experience within groundworks or construction is essential
*Good understanding of site processes and safety practices
*CSCS card
*Strong communication skills and confident speaking with site teams
*Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
*Keen to build a long-term career in Health & Safety
NEBOSH training can be provided for the right individual who demonstrates commitment and potential.
