Teaching Assistant – Havering | Immediate Start
Location: Havering, East London
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Temporary
Pay: £100–£120 per day (depending on experience)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Havering for an immediate start. This is a temporary position with potential for extension for the right candidate.
The Role
* Support students in the classroom across KS3 and KS4
* Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
* Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Support students with additional learning needs where necessary
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patient, proactive and supportive approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
