Assistant Sales Manager
Location: Surrey
Hours: 9-day fortnight (weekday off every week, working alternate Saturdays)
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 basic
OTE: £50,000 – £55,000
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Sales Manager to join a well-established independent estate agency in Surrey. This role is perfect for an ambitious Senior Sales Negotiator ready to step into a wider leadership and operational position.
Role Overview – Assistant Sales Manager
You will support senior leadership in driving sales performance, maintaining service standards and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position blends sales ability with mentoring, coordination and operational support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Care
• Manage active buyers and sellers, delivering exceptional service
• Conduct viewings, negotiate offers and support the full sales process
• Attend valuations when required
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients
Team Support & Leadership
• Act as the main support to senior management on daily operations
• Mentor and guide Negotiators to maintain high standards
• Contribute to meetings, training and general performance support
Operational Oversight
• Assist with applicant management and diary coordination
• Support pipeline management, stock reviews and pricing recommendations
• Maintain accurate records and support weekly KPI checks
Collaboration
• Provide consistent leadership presence across the wider team
• Uphold company values and support operational consistency across the business
Requirements
• Proven track record as a Senior Sales Negotiator
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong organisational ability, calm under pressure
• Commercially aware and confident in decision-making
• Full UK driving licence and own car
Package & OTE
• Basic salary: £28,000 – £32,000
• Personal sales commission (Senior Negotiator structure)
• Additional office performance commission
• Discretionary biannual bonus
• OTE around £50,000 – £55,000, with high performers exceeding £65,000
