The role:
As Senior Payroll Advisor, you’ll work closely with the Payroll Manager to oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery across both weekly and monthly cycles. You’ll act as a key point of support for the wider team, help resolve complex payroll queries, and contribute to process improvements.
Key responsibilities:
*Managing the full end-to-end payroll process for weekly and monthly payrolls

*Supporting and guiding the payroll team where needed

*Ensuring compliance with legislation, company policies, and audit requirements

*Handling escalated payroll queries and providing clear resolutions

*Assisting with reporting, reconciliations, and payment submissions

*Contributing to continuous improvement across payroll processes

What we’re looking for:
*Strong end-to-end payroll experience

*Exposure to a senior, lead, or mentoring role within payroll

*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

*Confident communicator with the ability to support colleagues and stakeholders

*Proactive approach with an interest in process improvement
