Humanities Teacher
Location: Cambridge Area
Start Date:After Easter 2026
Pay:£150–£250 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Long-term with potential to go permanent in September 2026
REED Education are delighted to be working with an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in the Cambridge area to support their search for a passionate Humanities Teacher. This long-term position begins after Easter and offers a strong route to a permanent role from September.
About the Role
*Teaching Humanities subjects across KS3 and KS4 (e.g. History, Geography, RE – depending on your strengths)
*Full-time, long-term assignment
*Supportive, collaborative Humanities department
*A genuine opportunity to progress into a permanent post
What We’re Looking For
*QTS or unqualified teachers with solid Humanities subject knowledge
*Ability to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons
*Effective behaviour and classroom management skills
*Enthusiasm for supporting students’ academic and personal development
