Premises Manager - Secondary Schools (Full-Time, 5 Days per Week)
Location: Croydon
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

About the RoleAs Premises Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational management, maintenance, safety, and security of the school site. You will play a key role in ensuring the school environment is safe, compliant, and fit for purpose, supporting both students and staff in achieving excellence.
Key Responsibilities*Oversee the day-to-day management of the school premises and grounds
*Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements
*Manage site security, including opening and closing procedures
*Coordinate and supervise contractors and site staff
*Lead on planned preventative maintenance and capital improvement projects
*Monitor site budgets and manage procurement of services and supplies
*Act as the main point of contact for premises-related matters
Candidate Requirements*Proven experience as a Premises Manager within a school or similar environment
*Strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation, compliance, and facilities management
*Experience managing contractors, maintenance schedules, and site teams
*Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership
*A relevant degree is preferred
