Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a growing and ambitious accountancy firm in their search for an experienced Practice Accountant to join one of their offices in Buckinghamshire.
This opportunity would suit a confident and capable practice professional who enjoys managing their own portfolio, building strong client relationships, and working within a flexible and supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities
*Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
*Prepare Limited Company accounts
*Prepare Self-Assessment tax returns
*Complete VAT returns and oversee payroll
*Work with cloud-based accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and FreeAgent
*Provide proactive support and advice to clients


Key Requirements
*Minimum 5 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
*Experience managing a client portfolio
*ACA/ACCA qualified preferred, although QBE will be considered
*Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting systems
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Organised, professional and client-focused
