KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting a Management Accountant for an excellent client based in Newcastle. Reporting directly to the Finance Director you will play a key role in supporting business decision-making through accurate financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role is responsible for preparing management accounts, analysing financial performance, improving financial processes, and providing insight to support strategic and operational decisions.
*Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
*Analyse financial results, identifying trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
*Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and cashflow projections.
*Provide insightful commentary and recommendations to senior management.
*Support the creation and consolidation of annual budgets.
*Support stakeholders in understanding financial targets and performance.
*Maintain rolling forecasts and conduct scenario analysis where needed.
*Monitor and analyse operating costs, overheads, and margins.
*Support cost-saving initiatives and financial efficiency projects.
*Maintain cost-allocation models and internal charging processes.
*Work closely with department heads, providing financial guidance and analysis.
*Support strategic initiatives with financial modelling and scenario planning.
*Present financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
*Improve financial processes, reporting tools, and internal controls.
*Ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting standards.
*Assist with year-end audit preparation and queries.


This role with suit a CIMA, ACCA or ACA fully or part qualified accountant with excellent Excel knowledge and strong communication skills.
