Claims Handler – Defendant Personal Injury (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000
Location: Bradford (with collaboration across Leeds & Bradford teams)
Working Pattern: Hybrid after probation (2 days from home)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 9:00 – 17:30 (flexible / part-time options available)
The Opportunity
A highly regarded commercial and volume litigation team is looking for an experienced Defendant Personal Injury Claims Handler to join their growing department. This position has become available due to a recent leaver and offers the chance to handle a varied, interesting caseload with strong exposure to major UK retail clients.

What You’ll Be Doing
*Managing a pre-litigation or litigation-focused caseload of EL/PL defendant claims
*Working closely with both the Leeds commercial team and the Bradford volume team
*Handling claims in a structured, process-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and excellent communication
*Liaising with clients, opponents, and stakeholders professionally and confidently
*Delivering high-quality technical work for well-known national retailers
What We’re Looking For
*A few years’ solid experience in defendant personal injury
*Experience inEL/PL is preferred; litigation and pre-litigation backgrounds will be considered
*Strong organisational and IT skills, with a methodical and proactive approach
*Someone hungry for exposure, development, and long-term progression
