Job Description:
We’re currently recruiting for a Claims Handler to join a well-established insurance business based in Rawdon / Leeds. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of office and home working once established in the position.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with at least 12 months’ motor claims experience, whether that’s from a broker, insurer, MGA, or accident management company. If you’re looking to develop your career in a supportive environment with clear progression routes, this could be the perfect next step.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage motor claims from First Notification of Loss (FNOL) through to settlement
*Liaise with policyholders, third parties, insurers, repairers, and solicitors
*Ensure claims are handled efficiently, fairly, and in line with company and FCA guidelines
*Maintain accurate records and diary management
*Provide excellent customer service throughout the claims process
*Support the wider team with workload and service delivery
About You:
*Minimum 12 months’ motor claims handling experience (any sector considered)
*Good understanding of the motor claims lifecycle
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Ability to manage a caseload effectively
*Confident using claims management systems
*A proactive and team-focused approach
