Location: Hybrid (Office-based 3 days/week, flexible remote 2 days)
Hours: Core 9–5, flexible start/finish
Contract: 4-month fixed-term
Day Rate: £170 per day

About the Opportunity:
We are recruiting on behalf for a growing business undergoing an important payroll systems integration. They are looking for an experienced Interim Payroll Advisor to support their payroll operations during this critical transition. This is an exciting, hands-on interim role for someone who can confidently manage manual payroll calculations, data reconciliation, and reporting across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
*Perform manual payroll calculations and prepare accurate payroll data for the external provider.
*Reconcile and cleanse data across multiple systems, including HRIS and scheduling platforms.
*Support the payroll team during system integrations and ongoing process improvements.
*Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance while handling sensitive employee information.
*Collaborate closely with the project lead and in-house payroll advisors to maintain smooth operations.
Candidate Requirements:
*Proven experience in payroll, ideally with exposure to manual payroll processing and complex data handling.
*Comfortable with multiple payroll and HR systems; tech-savvy and adaptable.
*Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
*Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
*Flexible and collaborative, with excellent communication skills.
