Job Description:
This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards with applicable conflicts of interest rules. This role will manage and resolve conflicts of interest, research new clients, and support the business-intake process, advising across the firm on any queries/issues.

Description
Key responsibilities include:
*Lead and manage the firm’s new-business intake process, ensuring thorough evaluation of new clients and matters.
*Perform detailed conflicts-of-interest checks using internal and external databases.
*Draft and implement conflicts waivers and ethical walls to address and resolve potential conflicts.
*Advise lawyers and staff on ethical obligations and SRA Code compliance, promoting a culture of ethical awareness.
*Deliver guidance and training on conflicts procedures and business-intake policies.
*Build strong working relationships through effective communication while adhering to firm policies and using resources responsibly.
Profile
The successful candidate would have:
*Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent).
*Strong knowledge of UK/US conflicts of interest rules and the SRA Code of Conduct.
*Experience with Intapp is advantageous.
*High integrity, sound judgement, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive/confidential matters.
*Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to make swift, well-reasoned decisions under pressure.
*Effective stakeholder management, including confidence working with senior partners, and strong interpersonal/team-working skills.
