Senior Commodity Buyer
Location: Tonbridge

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commodity Buyer to manage strategic sourcing activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will drive cost savings, supplier performance, and supply continuity across key commodity categories.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead end-to-end procurement and RFQ processes
*Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements
*Source new suppliers and manage global supply risks
*Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery)
*Deliver cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
*Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Planning
*Maintain ERP/MRP data and track commodity KPIs
About You
*Proven procurement/buying experience in manufacturing or engineering
*Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
*Commercially driven with strong analytical ability
*ERP/MRP/SAP and advanced Excel skills
*CIPS or continuous improvement knowledge (desirable)
