About the Role
We’re hiring a Head of Procurement to shape, lead, and elevate our Services Procurement capability. This is a rare opportunity to own a core service line, set best practice, and influence the direction of a rapidly growing business area. If you want strategic impact, autonomy, and the chance to define a market-leading procurement function, this role offers exactly that.
As our senior procurement expert, you’ll lead the strategy, design, governance, and delivery of procurement across all customer solutions within our Services Procurement business. This is a strategic hire with dual responsibility: delivering for a major new enterprise customer and building a scalable, high-performing procurement capability for the future.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
*Define best-in-class procurement strategies, governance frameworks, and operating models.
*Lead category strategy development, supplier engagement, and end-to-end process design for strategic customers.
*Shape customer requirements in collaboration with account teams and champion broader service adoption.
*Oversee pre-market engagement, benchmarking, supplier analysis, and procurement design.
*Build and mature our procurement and consultancy capability across the business.
Hands-On Delivery
*Deliver or oversee complex, multimillion-pound procurement exercises.
*Agree delivery models with customers and manage variations or change control.
*Support buyers and service leads to ensure compliant and competitive procurement outcomes.
*Produce meaningful MI demonstrating value, savings, and performance.
Skills & Experience
Must Have
*Proven experience delivering procurements for professional services and consultancy.
*Deep understanding of Public Sector procurement, including frameworks and PA23.
*Strong track record leading complex, high-value procurement processes.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*CIPS qualified or working towards final stages.
Beneficial
*Experience with Neutral Vendor or consultancy MSP models.
*Understanding of construction procurement regulations.
*Experience building or scaling a service or business unit.
*Sales or account management exposure.
*Confident presenting to senior audiences.
