Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs? An outstanding Primary School in Camden is seeking a confident and resilient Year 3 SEND Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support on a full-time, long-term basis with an ASAP start.


As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support a Year 3 child with ASD and ADHD by implementing targeted interventions, promoting positive behaviour, and helping them engage confidently with learning. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will adapt activities to meet individual needs, foster emotional regulation, and contribute to the child’s overall academic and SEMH development.


The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will have significant experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs, ideally in a 1:1 capacity. You will be patient, resilient, and adaptable, with a strong understanding of SEN strategies and behaviour management techniques. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and families are essential, as is a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.

*Adapt classroom activities to meet the child’s individual needs

*Long-term / Term Time Only
*£110 - £130 per day

*Ability to plan and delivered tailored interventions that promote both learning and emotional development

*Patient, resilient, and adaptable, able to respond to changing needs throughout the day
