A well-established national financial services firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their busy York office on a 6-month fixed term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a fast-paced finance team, supporting core finance and payroll functions in a professional and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:*Assisting with day-to-day finance operations
*Supporting payroll processing and administration
*Maintaining accurate financial records
*Assisting with reconciliations and reporting
*Providing general support to the wider finance team
About You:*Previous experience in finance and payroll is essential
*Ideally studying towards, or holding, a relevant accountancy qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
