Interim Management Accountant - 3 Month Contract
Immediate Start
Up to £55,000 (pro rata)
Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a manufacturing client to recruit an experienced Interim Management Accountant for a three-month contract. This is an immediate requirement to support the finance function across three entities within a fast-paced production environment.
This role will suit a technically strong accountant with solid manufacturing experience, particularly around standard costing and operational finance.
The RoleReporting into the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts across three entities
*Detailed P&L analysis and variance reporting
*Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of strong financial controls
*Standard costing, including analysis of material, labour and overhead variances
*Margin analysis, stock valuation and WIP reviews
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
*Assisting with audit requirements where required
*Partnering with operational teams to provide clear cost and performance insight
The Person*Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or QBE with strong manufacturing exposure
*Proven experience producing management accounts in a production environment
*Strong understanding of standard costing and cost control
*Confident working independently and delivering to tight deadlines
*Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems experience
*Immediately available or able to start at short notice
