We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA3) to join a vibrant primary school in Burnley. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in children’s education, particularly supporting groups from Year 1 to Year 6 who are working below age expectation. The position is to start as soon as possible, offering a supportive and dynamic working environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Work closely with groups of children from Year 1 to Year 6, providing targeted support to those who are below age expectation.
*Implement engaging educational activities and interventions designed to aid learning and development.
*Collaborate with teachers to assess the needs of students and monitor their progress.
*Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
*Utilise a variety of educational techniques to enhance learning and meet the diverse needs of students.
*Participate in training and development sessions to improve professional skills and educational knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience supporting groups of children in an educational setting.
*Strong understanding of the educational needs of children across different primary school years.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
