Job Description:
A welcoming Junior School in the NG15 postcode area is seeking a committed Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team, starting as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Year 6 with their learning, helping them prepare for transition to secondary school while providing targeted academic and pastoral support.
The Role:*Year 6 Teaching Assistant
*Based at a Junior School in NG15
*Start ASAP
*Supporting Year 6 pupils in class and in small groups
*Assisting with core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science
*Providing 1:1 support where needed
*Supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
What We’re Looking For:*Previous experience supporting upper key stage 2 pupils
*A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach
*Confidence in supporting English and Maths learning
*Ability to engage and motivate children in Year 6
*Strong teamwork and communication skills
*An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
