Job Description:
Are you an experienced assembly operative, or a candidate with electrical or engineering qualifications ready to take your first step into the industry?
Job title: Assembly Operative
Location: Edenbridge
Salary: up to £30,000 (dependant on experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.00pm, Friday 7.30am - 3.15pm
Benefits:
*21 days annual leave, increasing with service up to 25 days + bank holidays
*Standard Pension Contributions
*Performance related bonus
*Annual pay reviews
Key responsibilities would be:
*Remove, service and repair components.
*Carry out electrical wiring and assembly.
*Reading electrical drawings and wiring schematics.
*Carry out soldering on components.
*Make up cable assemblies.
*Cut, splice and crimp cables.
*Use hand and power tools.
Experience and skills required:
*Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
*An electrical or engineering qualification
*A team player
