Inspire Young Learners as a 1:1 Tutor (KS1-KS2) Prospero Teaching is proud to work in partnership with Local Councils and SEND teams across the UK, supporting children who are currently out of mainstream education or who require additional, tailored support. We’re expanding our team of dedicated tutors and are looking for passionate educators who want to make a genuine difference.
The Role
We’re seeking a Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience to deliver 1:1 tuition to primary-aged pupils (KS1 & KS2). Your work will help build confidence, close learning gaps, and support each child’s academic and personal development.
What You’ll Be Doing * Deliver engaging, personalised tutoring sessions on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

* Teach across different year groups, following curriculum guidance and existing lesson plans.

* Create a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages progress and independence.

* Record session details and provide end-of-week feedback reports.

What We’re Looking For * Experience in education: QTS teachers, tutors, teaching assistants, cover supervisors, or similar backgrounds.

* Ability to engage and motivate learners across KS1 and KS2.

* Understanding of SEND and how to adapt teaching to individual needs.

* Strong communication skills and a nurturing, patient approach.
