Job Description:
Office Administrator / Service Advisor
*Location: Shipley, Bradford
*Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 DOE
*Job Type: 8:30 – 17:30
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Office Administrator / Service Advisor to join our client based in Shipley. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a customer-facing position, can manage a fast paced environment effectively, and ensures smooth operation through excellent communication and meticulous attention to detail.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Serve as the first point of contact for customers both over the phone and in person.
*Provide outstanding customer service and handle enquiries with professionalism.
*Manage bookings, schedule jobs into the diary, and oversee daily workflow.
*Order parts as per job requirements and coordinate with suppliers.
*Prepare job cards and keep customers updated on the progress of their services.
*Process payments and maintain precise records.
*Support the workshop team with administrative tasks.
*Address and resolve customer queries or concerns effectively.
*Utilise computer systems confidently for bookings, invoicing, and communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong customer service skills and a confident communicator, both face-to-face and over the phone.
*Proficient in using computers and quick to learn new systems.
*Capable of working under pressure and managing a busy workload.
*Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
*A positive attitude and a willingness to support the team.
*Experience in a garage, service desk, or similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
*Knowledge of vehicle parts or workshop processes is desirable.
*Experience with booking systems or invoicing software is an advantage.
