A highly prestigious, heritage aligned international school in New York is seeking an exceptional Director of Admissions to join its Senior Leadership Team.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity within a premium co-educational day and boarding school offering a rigorous blend of British, IB and American curriculum pathways. The school combines historic educational values with a forward looking global outlook and is positioned for ambitious growth in the US and international markets.
The Director of Admissions will lead the full strategic direction of student recruitment and enrolment growth. This is not simply an operational admissions role. • Working closely with Marketing and Communications to deliver an ambitious multi-channel recruitment strategy across digital, print, PR and events
• Identifying and developing new domestic and international markets, including agents, fairs and strategic partnerships
• Overseeing admissions systems, applicant assessment processes and reporting to senior leadership and Board level
• Ensuring a seamless and premium applicant journey from enquiry through to enrolment
• Managing admissions budgets strategically and effectively
The successful candidate will bring significant Admissions leadership experience within an independent day and boarding school environment. You will demonstrate strong strategic planning capability, excellent communication skills and the gravitas to operate at Senior Leadership level.
A bachelor’s degree is required. Experience designing strategy, managing concurrent projects and presenting to senior stakeholders is essential.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Enhanced background checks will apply.
Candidates must already have the right to work in the USA.
