Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key leadership role within a high-performing agile scrum team, bridging the gap between customers, business stakeholders, and development teams. You will translate complex business and technical environments into clear, actionable requirements, ensuring the delivery of scalable SaaS solutions that help organisations meet energy reduction and carbon emission targets ahead of schedule.

This is a client-facing, delivery-focused role suited to experienced analysts who are comfortable leading discovery activities, shaping solutions, and influencing stakeholders across international teams.

You’ll have the opportunity to:
• Lead discovery, storyboarding, prototyping, and business analysis activities within an agile technology team
• Partner with senior stakeholders to champion Agile best practices
• Translate complex customer environments into structured technical and functional requirements
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to assess, validate, and refine solutions
• Accurately represent the needs of internal and external customers
• Contribute to the delivery of innovative IoT and cloud-based SaaS solutions
• Travel to UK and international offices as required

Your Responsibilities:
• Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements across enterprise SaaS applications
• Produce artefacts including user stories, interface specifications, data mapping documentation, UI specifications, and report specifications
• Gather and analyse project metrics related to user stories and delivery outputs
• Review QA test strategies and test plans to ensure alignment with defined requirements
• Partner with development and QA teams on solution assessment and validation
• Negotiate consensus where departments request conflicting or inconsistent requirements
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute as a senior member of the scrum team
• Apply SQL and structured analysis techniques to validate system and data behaviour

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field
• 3+ years’ experience as a Technical or Senior Business Analyst working on enterprise software applications, ideally within SaaS environments
• Strong understanding and practical experience of Agile methodologies
• Experience negotiating across teams with competing or complex requirements
• Solid understanding of SQL and database management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Proven analytical ability with a proactive, self-starter attitude
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with HTML, XML, SOAP APIs, and UX design principles
