Job Description:
A leading Top 50 Accountancy Firm in Central London is recruiting an ACCA Qualified Accounts Senior / Newly Qualified Accountant / Business Services Senior to join its growing Business Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained accountant seeking portfolio ownership, hybrid working, strong progression prospects and exposure to a broad client base.
Accounts Senior - Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation of statutory accounts (FRS 102 and some IFRS)
*Managing your own client portfolio
*Preparation of management accounts
*VAT returns and VAT compliance
*Client relationship management
*Liaising directly with directors and business owners
*Supporting and reviewing junior staff where appropriate
Requirements: *ACCA qualified (or equivalent qualification)
*Experience working in a UK accountancy practice firm
*Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 (IFRS desirable)
*Experience preparing statutory accounts independently
*Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
*Experience managing or assisting with a client portfolio
