Job Description:
Synechron is looking for an experienced Claims Scrum Master to lead and support agile initiatives within our Legacy Claims Modernisation Programme for a prestigious London Market client.
As a Claims Scrum Master, you will play a vital role in guiding agile teams focused on developing, enhancing, and maintaining claims processes and systems. Your expertise will ensure Scrum practices are followed, foster collaboration, and eliminate obstacles to deliver high-quality claims management solutions.

Responsibilities:
*Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
*Support the claims team in adhering to Agile principles and Scrum methodology
*Coach team members, stakeholders, and Product Owners on effective agile practices with a focus on insurance claims
*Identify and remove impediments to team progress to ensure timely delivery
*Promote continuous improvement and foster a culture of feedback and iterative development
*Collaborate closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritise the claims-related backlog
*Monitor team performance metrics and report progress to leadership
*Champion best practices in claims processing and support adoption of new tools or technologies
Experience:
*Experience as a Scrum Master within the insurance claims industry, particularly with London Market insurance claims
*Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks
*Previous experience as a Claims Handler is highly desirable
*Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
*Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
*Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
*Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is preferred.
Location and Working Hours:
This hybrid role requires weekly in-office presence in London, with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote. Flexibility is needed for key meetings
Long term contract or permanent role - x3 days in London office - Strong benefits/ market rates
