Job Description:
An established Asset Manager is seeking an experienced data professional to strengthen and embed its enterprise data governance capability whilst supporting a series of strategic data platform initiatives.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone operating at mid-to-senior level who is comfortable working across both change programmes and business-as-usual data oversight within a complex investment environment.
The position can be based in London or remote, with an expectation of two days per week onsite in West Yorkshire.

TRAVEL TO CLIENT SITE 2 DAYS PER WEEK WILL BE COVERED
Experience:
*Demonstrable experience working within a buy-side investment management data environment.
*Broad knowledge of investment data across multiple asset classes, including both listed and private markets.
*Strong understanding of performance and benchmark data structures and their downstream usage.
*Solid grasp of transaction, cash and position data flows across front-to-back investment processes.
*Practical exposure to investment data architecture, including book of record concepts and upstream/downstream integrations.
*Previous involvement in establishing or enhancing data governance and control frameworks.
*Experience defining data accountability models, improving data quality processes, and introducing documentation standards such as cataloguing or lineage mapping.
*Working knowledge of third-party data providers and how external data is sourced, validated and consumed within investment platforms.
*Comfortable operating across regulatory, operational and project-driven change initiatives.
*Confident engaging with senior stakeholders across Investment, Operations, Risk and Technology, with the ability to work independently and drive outcomes.
