Job Description:
KennedyPearce are hiring a Finance Manager, a 4 month contract for a media company in West London. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role sits within the EMEA Direct-to-Consumer finance team and focuses on financial planning, reporting, and cost management. The Finance Manager provides high-quality financial insight and analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support core financial planning cycles, including forecasts, annual operating plans, and long-range plans
*Actualise and maintain forecast models using driver-based assumptions
*Prepare and contribute to planning and forecast presentation decks for senior stakeholders
*Track actuals versus forecast, clearly explaining variances and key drivers
*Identify financial risks and opportunities and communicate them effectively
*Manage close and forecast reporting activities
*Review cost management processes and identify areas for improvement
Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance Director, including: *Revenue and cost analysis
*External data and analysis requests
*Process reviews and improvements
The ideal candidate is ACA/CIMA qualified, has strong FP&A experience within the media sector, advanced Excel and financial systems skills (SAP/BW, Cognos), and a proven ability to partner with operational and commercial teams. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to work across multiple systems, teams, and locations.
