Clinical Product Sales Specialist
*Job Type: Field-based
*Location: London and the South East (mainly remote)
*Salary: Competitive plus commission plus Laptop, Phone and Car Allowance
We are seeking a Clinical Product Sales Specialist to develop and support the sales of our client’s portfolio within the UK market, aiming to achieve sales targets and corporate objectives. This role involves operating an effective Key Account Management strategy, delivering high-performance results through a professional sales process and excellent customer service.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Promote company activities within the UK marketplace, focusing on both acute and primary care sectors.
*Must be a self-starter, Leader and with experience of driving new business
*Achieve on-target sales of products across all relevant NHS and private sector channels.
*Effectively promote and sell products to target customers to enhance product, brand, and company awareness.
*Build and maintain a detailed record of the regional customer base, including existing customers, future opportunities, key contacts, and influencers.
*Provide customers with quotations and product information as required, ensuring all details are recorded on the company CRM.
*Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies to increase sales.
*Deliver product training and educational events, including clinical evaluation management at ward level.
*Maintain knowledge of competitor products, key features, and benefits, and define sales arguments to position our products competitively.
*Maintain awareness of competitor activity and report activities that may impact sales or channels to market.
*Identify product development and market gaps, working collaboratively with appropriate departments to enhance existing offerings and identify new product developments.
*Work closely with marketing to develop and implement local marketing tools and strategies to assist in sales growth, market share, and brand awareness.
*Ensure the identification, management, and timely completion of all product-related tenders.
*Assist with all new product launches, exhibitions, promotions, conferences, and all associated activities as required.
*Develop and maintain business relationships with all necessary procurement hubs, e.g., NHSSC.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous clinical experience especially in ITU and main teaching hospital knowledge .
*Knowledge of account management principles and practices.
*Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and a proactive and resilient attitude.
*Strong Sales Business and Commercial Acumen.
*Experience in developing and delivering training programmes to clinicians/customers.
*Excellent data handling and analytical skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets (Pivot tables, queries).
*High degree of computer literacy (e.g., MS Office).
*A clean, current Driving Licence.
