Senior Finance Officer - Bolton, Paying up to £44,000

A respected manufacturing firm in Bolton is recruiting for a hands-on Senior Finance Officer to keep its finance operations running smoothly. With a team member relocating, this is a great chance to step into a key role and take real ownership across AP, AR and payroll. Fantastic benefits! Great team!
Duties will include:
*Overseeing Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
*Manage cashflow forecasting and weekly payment runs
*Lead credit control
*Prepare monthly journals & Balance Sheet reconciliations
*Process payroll with the payroll provider
*Support and develop junior finance staff
*Assist with year-end audit and finance projects
What you’ll bring:
*Experience in a finance role, such as a Financial Accountant
*Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail
*Confident communication skills
*Solid IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
*Organised, proactive, able to work independently
Nice to have:
*ACCA/ACA/CIMA (qualified, part-qualified or QBE)
*Experience with Sage Line 50
