Job Description:
Tender Co-Ordinator / Estimator ?? Full-Time | Permanent
The Role Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for developing winning tender strategies, preparing accurate estimates, and coordinating comprehensive tender submissions.
This is a client-facing role requiring strong commercial awareness and excellent relationship management skills. You will ensure all tenders are competitively structured, commercially sound, and professionally presented — minimising risk while delivering first-class service to clients.
Key Responsibilities *Develop and implement winning tender strategies
*Produce detailed and competitive cost estimates
*Analyse tender opportunities and make informed bid/no-bid recommendations
*Coordinate the full tender return documentation and submission process
*Review and manage historical cost data and market trends
*Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
*Lead and support client presentations and pre-contract meetings
*Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, Planning Regulations, and relevant legislation
*Manage pre-contract documentation and handover to delivery teams
*Control and monitor costs associated with tenders
*Ensure high standards of health & safety and compliance with company policies
About You We are looking for a commercially astute and detail-oriented professional with strong organisational and communication skills.
Key Skills & Experience:
*Proven experience in estimating and tender coordination within construction or fit-out
*Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
*Excellent planning and organisational ability
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Confident presenting to internal stakeholders and clients
*Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office
*Experience using Bluebeam or similar software
*Strong team player with high levels of integrity and professionalism
Qualifications:
*Membership of a recognised industry body (e.g., RICS or CIOB) or proven commercial estimating experience
