JOB TITLE - SEND Teaching AssistantABOUT THE SCHOOLProspero Teaching is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary School based in North Bristol.
The school has a dedicated team focused on inclusive practice and offers ongoing CPD opportunities throughout the year.
Depending on performance, the school may look to extend the contract or offer a permanent position.
CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS*Location: North Bristol
*Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
*Full-Time: Monday to Friday
*Day Rate: £90 - £110 per day
*Hours: 8:20am - 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*Previous experience working within SEN (Autism, Speech & Language Needs, ADHD, SEMH, or similar)
*SEN-specific training is required
*Experience working within a UK school
*Up-to-date safeguarding training (issued within the last year)
*Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
*Experience supporting children with additional learning needs is highly desirable
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold the Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one
*Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
