This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong accountant to take ownership of key reporting and statutory accounts responsibilities while working within a supportive and forward-thinking finance team.

Key Responsibilities
*Support senior finance colleagues with the preparation of statutory and interim accounts for the Group
*Produce statutory accounts for subsidiary entities and other related companies as required
*Conduct IFRS 9 classification reviews for financial assets and liabilities, ensuring reporting and disclosure requirements are fully met and evidence is documented
*Assist with the maintenance and development of the Group’s accounting policies, ensuring they are kept current with new standards and changes
*Review and reconcile IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss outputs, ensuring accurate calculations and compliant disclosures
*Perform calculations and reconciliations for portfolio reporting models, ensuring the results are correctly reflected in financial statements
*Contribute to strengthening internal controls and promoting continuous improvement across financial processes
*Provide cover for various financial reporting and ledger maintenance tasks when required
*Support the coordination of audits across the Group and its subsidiary entities
*Assist with tax compliance and reporting activities for the Group
Experience & Knowledge Required:
*Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) or equivalent
*Strong technical accounting background
*Up-to-date understanding of IFRS reporting requirements
*Experience producing consolidated financial statements
