Responsibilities: Full Teaching Responsibilities
A well-regarded secondary school in the Hemel Hempstead area is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their team from after Easter for the rest of the academic year. This is a full-time role requiring full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, assessment, and participation in the wider school community.
The successful candidate will primarily teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, while also delivering Maths lessons up to KS3. You will join a supportive department with strong leadership and a collaborative ethos.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver engaging and high-quality Computer Science lessons
*Teach Maths up to Key Stage 3
*Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with school policies
*Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
*Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes progress and achievement
*Participate in meetings, duties, and wider school responsibilities
Essential Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
*Ability to teach Maths confidently to KS3
*Strong classroom management skills
*A proactive and professional approach
